Joint WAGER/WADB Independent Advisory Committee
In accordance with the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Enabling Grant guidelines WAGER, in collaboration with the Western Australian DNA Bank, has established a properly constituted common Independent Advisory Committee (IAC) of 'eminent persons' who are independent of WAGER and the WADB and represent a range of consumer, scientific and social scientific disciplines from across Australia. The Committee, which operates under defined terms of reference, offers advice to the WAGER Executive and Scientific Committees and the WADB Management Committee on matters such as stakeholder management, probity, advocacy and, if required, dispute resolution.
The Committee currently consists of the following members:
